I’ve spent over a decade in mental health, supporting clients of all ages, from children to older adults. I specialize in family work but have experience helping a wide range of people navigate life’s challenges. I’ve worked with Fraser Health, community agencies, and Peace Arch Hospice.
I have a special interest in supporting first responders / frontline workers drawing on my hospital experience and personal connections to first responders. I provide a safe, supportive space to grow, heal, and thrive.

I hold a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Psychology from Simon Fraser University, where I completed several research projects focused on adolescent mental health, attachment, and autism. I went on to earn my Master’s Degree in Counselling Psychology from the University of Lethbridge.

I take a down-to-earth, warm, and supportive approach to counselling. I listen with empathy and work with you to understand your experiences and find practical tools to navigate life’s challenges.
Grounded in evidence-based practices, I am trained in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Dialectical Behavioural Therapy, Emotion Focused Therapy and Mindfulness, and I tailor each session to your unique needs and goals.

I enjoy trying new recipes, visiting local thrift stores and going to the gym. My heart is with my family - the best days are at home having cozy moments or going for nature walks.
Working with First Responders / Frontline Workers
I am especially drawn to working with first responders and frontline workers because I have a strong respect for the demands of these roles and a solid understanding of the environments they work in.
Having worked in hospital settings, I am familiar with shift work, high-pressure systems, staff hierarchies, and repeated exposure to trauma and crisis. I also understand the workplace culture, including the use of humour, resilience, and the pressure to keep going despite emotional strain.
Alongside this professional experience, I also have personal connections to the first responder world, which deepens my motivation to offer a space where people feel understood without needing to explain the nature of their work.
